Zhug yaiku sawijining olahan jinis sambel pedes saka Yaman langsung tlatah Arab.
Zhug iki saka mrico panas abang utawa ijo sing bumbu ketumbar, bawang putih, uyah, cumin ireng (opsional) lan macem-macem rempah-rempah, banjur dicampur karo minyak zaitun. [1] [2] [3] Sawetara uga nambah winih caraway, kapulaga, lan mrica ireng .
