Banmian ( simplified Chinese ) utawa pan mee ( Min Nan Chinese ) minangka sajian mi Cina populer, sing kalebu mie gawenan tangan sing disajik ing sup. [1] Jinis mie gawenan tangan liyane kalebu youmian (tekstur lan rasa adonan sing padha, nanging mi bunder luwih tipis), utawa mee hoon kueh (potongan persegi panjang sing rata lan lancip).Jeneng banmian (mie papan / blok) asale saka metode Hakka ngethok mi dadi untaian lurus nggunakake blok kayu minangka penggaris. Ing Hakka, ana sing ngarani Man-Foon-Char-Guo (麵粉茶粿) utawa Dao-Ma-Chet (刀嬤切).
