Pla ra ( Thai: ปลาร้า , kocapan [plāː ráː] ), uga diarani Padaek, ( Lao : ປາ ແດກ) minangka salah sawijining jinisbumbu tradisional Lao lan Isan [1] bumbu sing diasilake kanthi fermentasi iwak nganggo dedak beras utawa tepung beras panggang lan uyah sing difermentasi ing wadhah tertutup paling ora nem wulan. [2] [3] Bumbu iwak fermentasi umume ditemokake ing masakan Kamboja, Lao, Mon, Thai lan Vietnam. [4] Pla ra duwe ambune sing kuat banget, sing dianggep ora enak dening sawetara wong. Rasane asin lan asem, gumantung saka jumlah uyah sing dilebokake lan asam laktat sing diasilake saka proses fermentasi .
