Bora minangka upacara inisiasi masarakat Aborigin ing Australia Wétan. Tembung "bora" uga nuduhake situs sing ditindakake inisiatif. Ing situs kasebut, bocah lanang, wis diwasa, entuk status pria. Upacara wiwitan beda karo budaya Aborigin dadi budaya, nanging asring, ing level fisik, kalebu scarification, sunat, subincision lan, ing sawetara wilayah, uga ngilangi untu.[1] Sajrone upacara adat, para mudha sing bakal diwiwiti diajari nyipta lagu-lagu suci tradisional, rahasia saka visi, tarian, lan budaya tradisional suku kasebut. Akeh klan sing beda bakal nglumpuk kanggo melu upacara inisiasi. Wanita lan bocah-bocah ora diidini teka ing lapangan bora suci sing ditindakake ritual kasebut.[1]
